Paris- Le Marais district is becoming "the " place to be in downtown Paris. The apartment is located on the second floor of the building, with an elevator. It has been completely renovated in January, 2000. It is nearby all facilities including metro, church, cafés, bakeries, and restaurants.

Features of the apartment include sleeping comfortably up to four guests, two in the large double bed in the separate bedroom and two in the luxurious Simmons hide-a-bed sofa (double-size and very comfortable). Stereo, cable TV, VCR, table, linen cupboard, and telephone are also featured.

Available services include: free local telephone, free cleaning service, and flowers. All charges included in the rate: electricity, heat, and taxes. Nearby subway station: Arts et Métiers Station. A 24 hour hot-line for needed assistance, mobile phone rental, reservations services, and travel services are also available.

Cozily decorated, it features wood floor and beams. Kitchen has an electric stove, microwave oven, refrigerator, electric coffeepot, dishes, cutlery, and washing and drying machine. The full bathroom has a bath, one sink, linen with cupboard and separate toilets.

History of Le Marais: Le Marais was originally reclaimed to provide building space for the Right Bank. Nearby, the famous Place des Vosges was built by Henri IV at the beginning of the 17th century. The area is now the city's center of fashionable living. Architects and sculptors designed elegant mansions and hôtel particulars with large courtyards and rear gardens during the 17th century. Now the Marais has been declared a historic neighborhood, and you can now find trendy boutiques, cafés, and museums in the district. The area's narrow streets, nevertheless, retain the stamp of a medieval village.

The apartment is very close to Beaubourg, Notre Dame, the Place des Voges, and a few minutes away from most of Paris' center places (by subway).

"Wonderful place - close to everything. Less than a block to Metro stop. Cozy and relaxing apartment on quiet street - would recommend to anyone. "- Michael & Lara, Ridgecrest, California
