A VERY NICE APARTMENT NEAR NOTRE DAME DE PARIS

You couldn't be better located than with this apartment for rent in Paris Notre Dame latin quarter area. The cathedral is one of the major touristic attraction. You are also just steps away from Ile de la Cité, the Marais, and in close proximity to the Bastille and the St. Germain neighborhood,
everything you need in the Latin quarter is a stone throw's away : restaurants, bars, shops.
This Paris apartment has a strong personnality and a nice view. It is nicely furnished and well equipped. This apartement best sleeps two people and a guest.
A little bit of history:
In the 12th and 13th centuries, the "rue du Fouarre" street was the most famous street of Paris. There, beside the Seine, stood the colleges of the University, when the voice of Professor and Poet Abelard spoke to the academic world. The street takes its name from the name "feurre" (straw/hay)
on which sat the students to attend classes.
The study room corner in the bedroom: Near the window overlooking the tower of the of Saint-Severin church is where the renowned writer Beatrix Beck had her desk and wrote "Leon Morin, Priest", the famous 1952 First Goncourt Prize (French equivalent to the Booker Prize).
